I have always been into pictures. Every stage of my life is well documented in photo form. It does not matter if I was in front of the camera or behind it. There is something about capturing the moment that has always interested me. Today, there is nothing different. I have a passion for creating images that remind you of the emotion you felt at that time. I strive to take photos that evoke a feeling and hopefully is able to project that feeling to anyone who sees it.

Michael Jimenez: The Big Picture

I am a graphic designer by trade. Part of the job is to tell a story with an image, graphic, text or a combination of all three. I need to pay attention to detail. I need to make sure the message is sent quickly and effectivley. With photography, I still need to still tell the story and project a message, but I have just seconds to do it, not to mention without graphics or text. It’s a challenge. A challenge I enjoy taking.
